Junior Sales Representative
The Junior Sales Representative is a driven, high-energy individual who will be supporting pipeline development and close most deals yourself or with the help of a Senior Sales/Business Development Representative for larger prospects. Your responsibilities will include, but won’t be limited to, prospecting (lead generation calls and qualification of inbound leads), pipeline/opportunity development, and in closing new business, but with a much stronger focus on the prospecting activities to start.
Ideal candidates have strong people skills, an assertive approach to sales, a motivated and self-driven attitude, and are a self starter with minimal need for daily direction. You have experience in cold calling and business development. Most importantly you have passion for relationship building and winning.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Prospecting

Generate leads through targeted B2B and B2C eCommerce ideal customer profile targets

Follow up on leads generated by marketing, events, and website lead generation activities, primarily via phone and/or virtual meetings

Complete required HubSpot sales process and pipeline activity tracking with detail and accuracy
Pipeline/Opportunity Development
- Own a pipeline of valuable opportunities with the responsibility and expectation of building, balancing and maintaining to meet corporate revenue targets
- Conduct all stages of the sales process from first contact through client acquisition (as appropriate to target prospect, else support Senior Sales/Business Development Representative as required to win business)
- Use strong qualification and decision making skills to quickly determine which business to pursue and which to walk away from as being undesired or unwinnable
- Support X Agency executives with client audits and/or business plan presentations with via virtual meetings
- Complete required HubSpot sales process and pipeline activity tracking with detail and accuracy
Closing new business

Serve as a knowledgeable advisor for prospective clients regarding X Agency and its services, and effectively position X Agency as the best choice for the customer

Earn right to ask for business; generate and present proposals (as appropriate to target prospect, else support Senior Sales/Business Development Representative as required to win business)

Perform other duties as assigned to contribute to overall sales and team results
Requirements

Bachelor’s degree
-
3+ years of telesales experience, preferably in a prospecting environment for an agency or marketing/design-oriented service

Strong research and analytical skills

Excellent communication skills: verbal and written

Preferred CRM: HubSpot but also some Apollo use for list sourcing

Strong problem-solving skills

Highly energetic, self-motivated and results driven

Ability to work in a team environment with remote employees

Ability to understand and identify needs and meet those needs with product fit

Ability to thrive in a highly entrepreneurial, fast-changing, and collaborative environment where people are driven, enthusiastic, and not afraid to take risks

Desire to be mentored and achieve greater sales success

Growth/performance marketing experience a plus but not required
